Unit 4

 1. My top 3 interests are Investigative, realistic, and social.

2. Some career examples are computer programmer, lab technician, civil engineer, surgeon, medical assistant, and therapist. I have interest in many of these careers. I have been aiming for a career in a STEM field, which many of these examples are, and I am currently an engineering major, which is similar to some of these.

3. My highest values are achievement, relationships, and working conditions. Some of my lowest are independence and support. I think I would mostly agree with these results, definitely the highest ones. I think it is very important to have achievement, relationships, and good working conditions in a job.

4. My top 3 traits are honesty/humility, openness to experience, and agreeableness.

5. I would say that the test did a pretty good job of capturing traits that reflect who I am. While it is not perfectly accurate, I was impressed by how spot on the results were. I was a little surprised by the low score in emotional stability and high score in extroversion.

6. According to my results, I prefer a job environment that values fairness, personal growth, praise and high pay for performance, opportunities, and encourages new ideas. I think that the results math up with jobs in my major pretty well. I would also look for the social values of a workplace, how they treat their workers and costumers, and integrity of the company and its leaders when choosing where to work, which was not included in this assessment.
